Are these really from Babish?

Yep! He first cooked them in his own kitchen, then started testing cooking them at larger quantities with the help of our kitchen team in Brooklyn. Once the exact recipe was taste-test approved by him for cooking at scale, our teams get trained in making it just right.

How much do the meals cost?

When purchased through the Binging with Babish storefront, the meals are $15.99 each, with a minimum order of 2+ meals required to reduce packaging and delivery waste. If you choose to subscribe to CookUnity to try the Babish meals as part of a weekly plan, prices are lower (around $11-$15 per meal) and follow this model. A discount for your first week is also available.

Am I in range for delivery from New York?

The New York kitchen has complete or partial coverage of 18 states/territories: CT, DC, DE, KY, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, and WV. To check if your specific address is in range, you can enter your zip code into the box on Babish’s landing page (which you’re on right now)!

Why are the meals not available in my area?

Sorry! Babish lives in and developed his recipes in New York, so we started with our Brooklyn kitchen to distribute them. The meals are only available to zip codes that we can deliver to from New York while keeping them fresh. He’ll be coming to our Chicago kitchen next, and more cities after that ASAP.

Why does delivery take 4-6 days?

All of CookUnity’s meals are made to order to ensure freshness and reduce waste. We need a few days to process, cook, and pack your order and then ship it to you. Delivery times depends on your distance from our New York kitchen facility (and our kitchen team’s cooking schedules, since we have a lot of cooks in the kitchen).

Are meals frozen?

They are fresh! Our Chefs generally advise against freezing meals as this may compromise the taste and overall freshness of the dish. Since we don't use artificial or chemical preservatives, the meals will have a refrigerated shelf life of about 3-7 days.

Why are the meals sold out?

Given that the meals are made fresh by hand, there is a limited capacity that we are able to produce in a given day. We are working as quickly as we can to expand Babish’s operations in New York, and to bring it to additional kitchens across the US as well. Stay tuned.

How does CookUnity work?

CookUnity is a weekly fresh meal subscription service. We’re offering Babish’s meals for purchase outside of subscription for a limited time to make sure that his fans can try them. But generally subscriptions work like this:
1. Pick your plan: Choose from 4, 6, 8, 12, or 16 meals per week. You can always add, pause, or skip deliveries — or change your plan at any time.
2. Choose your weekly meals: Or forget about meal planning, and let us select for you based on your preferences.
3. Get chef-crafted meals at your door: All meals are delivered chilled in recyclable containers.
4. Heat, plate, and enjoy: Meals are ready-to-eat when you are. Just follow the simple instructions to heat and plate — then enjoy!5. Enjoy flexible scheduling: Change your delivery day, add, pause, or reschedule deliveries at any time.
