Chef Santana received her Culinary + Culinary Management diplomas from The Institute of Culinary Education in New York. After working in different restaurants throughout the city and interning with TastingTable.com, she decided to branch out on her own as a freelance chef and culinary instructor.
Santana describes her culinary perspective as "rustic ethnic", as she stays inspired by global flavors. Although Chef Santana likes to explore all kinds of cuisines, she is heavily influenced by pan-Asian and Caribbean food. While Santana can appreciate a good pork shoulder, she also has a strong background in vegetarian/vegan and healthy cooking. Dabbling in sweets and comforting desserts are also her thing and she loves collaborating with clients on exciting menus.
