Born and raised in Los Angeles I found my love for food at a young age spending time in the kitchen with my grandfather an Italian chef and restauranteur. I moved to NYC after graduating from school and attended the International Culinary Center in Manhattan where I studied classic French cuisine along with nutrition. After graduating with honors from the ICC I moved back to Los Angeles where I started working in various aspects of the culinary field including meal delivery, catering, managing commercial health based kitchens, private chef and nutrionist. Primarily focusing on gluten free food using fresh locally sourced ingredients, I honed my skills and transitioned into consulting helping various companies transform their menus, cut food cost, train chefs, and expand their businesses. welcome Brooke Alpert M.S., R.D., C.D.N.

We'd like to welcome nationally recognized nutrition expert, author and New Yorker Brooke Alpert to our CookUnity.

Brooke received her Masters of Science at New York University and completed her dietetic training at Mt. Sinai Hospital in affiliation with NYU. She is the founder of B Nutritious, a private nutrition counseling and consulting firm located on the Upper East Side.

She will work with our artisan chefs community creating even healthier, tastier, more balanced and conscious meals for you to enjoy.
