Chef Lena and Chef Emily are two peas from the same pod. Their cuisine is inspired by functional medicinal cooking, allowing every ingredient to benefit the mind, body and environment, and they connect to create dishes that are life giving, delicious, comforting, and conscious. They believe that plant-based meals prepared with intention and mindfulness are the building blocks of a healthy life, and that eating this way on a regular basis is essential for healing and preserving the mind, body, and planet. They prepare menus seasonally, using ingredients that are locally sourced and abundant, to reduce carbon footprint and to support you in eating the food that is natural in your climate at this time of year.
Lena, with more than 15 years of experience as a restaurant and private celebrity chef in LA and NYC, is also an IIN certified Health Coach and registered yoga teacher. She cooks with love of a mama, the palate of a well-traveled chef, and the medicine of a good witch.
Emily, who hails from both an arts and nutrition sciences education, is a self-taught chef who combines cooking and nutrition coaching to foster healthier relationships with food in her private clients homes, through addiction recovery programs and community dinners. Together, these passionate women are creating satiating superfoods that are earth friendly and optimally nourishing.
