Katiushka Melo is an artist, spice collector and founder/ chef of In The Mood For, a food project that inhabits other spaces converting kitchens into a temporary home where produce, spices and flavors are converted into beautiful dishes. Spice collecting is present in every dish evoking memories of lands that never physically meet. From the far ends of Argentina's Tierra del Fuego to the numbing peppers of Sichuan, China, seemingly disparate flavors come together to meet harmoniously on each plate. Katiushka hosts The Gathering, a monthly supper club with a long waiting list and The Tasting Lab, a monthly ice cream and cocktail pairing event, inside of her own home, cooking while entertaining guests at her table.
This is my all time favorite. Chef Pueget is absolutely gifted. Every meal she developed is fantastic.

Brooke received her Masters of Science at New York University and completed her dietetic training at Mt. Sinai Hospital in affiliation with NYU. She is the founder of B Nutritious, a private nutrition counseling and consulting firm located on the Upper East Side.
