Cantonese BBQ Chicken with Summer Squash Medley
4.2

26 reviews

meal

In this dish, juicy chicken thighs are marinated in a Chinese-style BBQ sauce reminiscent of your favorite Char Siu, making them irresistibly tender and saucy. Served with a delicate summer squash medley of zucchini, squash, and carrots, plus a side fluffy white Kokuho rice and scallions. This dish is a little sweet, a little smoky, and totally delicious!

Surprisingly tasty chicken, really did remind me of roast pork. The chicken was tasty and the veggies were delicious. I enjoyed the rice with the chicken and veg as well.

Very tasty

Karen · 09/18/22

I'm Cantonese and I love this dish!

Laura · 09/11/22

Tasty and filling with crisp vegetables, especially flavorful chicken (thanks to the fat left on) and abundant well-cooked rice. Would be even better if it included the side container of sauce mentioned in the heating instructions.
