Story of the Meal

The Hanger steak is brushed and marinated in a homemade pesto made out of fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, arugula and olive oil. The meat is then grilled to perfection. The potatoes are roasted and then crushed to catch even more flavors. Served with a side of heathy vegetable this dish is a staple spring edition!!

Meals are delivered chilled

Containers are oven & microwave safe, lid is not safe.

NOTE: Remove the plastic cup from inside the container before heating.

In the Ovenrecommended

1. Preheat to 350F. 2. Remove sleeve and peel back film. 3. Pour sauce on top. 4. Heat up for 10 mins or until heated through.

Enjoy it cold!

In the Microwave

1. Remove sleeve and peel back film to vent. 2. Pour sauce on top 3. Microwave for 1.5 mins.

The Pesto New York S...

I was skeptical at f...

I was skeptical at first with how a cold delivered meal you heat up could be medium rare but the meat kept it's medium rare sear! It was a little chewy at some parts but that's a New York strip for you. If you cut it into smaller bit sized pieces it was good. The flavor was excellent and the pesto was my favorite part. It does get a little oily towards the end with the pesto sauce so I might suggest putting the potatoes on a separate dish or heating up without sauce and putting it on later. The potatoes were good and the broccoli had a great garlic taste.

This dish was absolutely delicious, but time and again I am puzzled by the huge discrepancy in nutrition info on this site. The serving size of this meal is listed as 427 grams, but my dish weighed 278 grams, so what's missing? Also makes it more difficult to track my calories.

Potatoes and spinach...

Potatoes and spinach were very good - and flavor of hanger steak was good. But getting 3 small pieces of steak in meal was disappointing. Also, though I poured out 90% of the oil in the pesto before adding it to the meal, the meal still swam in oil once it was heated.

The potatoes were s...

The potatoes were smushed, there was barely any arugula. My first thought was "pitiful" when looking at it. Not a good first impression when first using this app.
