The sauce and bok choy made for a slightly bitter taste. I wish the sauce had been a little sweeter to balance the bok choy.

I absolutely love dumplings, these aren't it. The flavor was extremely bland. If I had a jar of crushed red pepper maybe i could soak them and eat the meal. 1 star. Didnt finish, went to the dogs

Had no flavor

That was fine. More filling than it looks. Could be seasoned more.

The dumplings always taste awesome, the Chinese broccoli is consistently perfect. Not a fan of the junzi sauce, it’s way too sweet! I make myself a side of Ponzu sauce and use that instead.

Dumplings were too doughy and filling needed more flavor

It’s almost perfect but it would really be helpful if the greens were bite sized
Chefs Wanting Zhang and Yong Zhao grew up in Northern China, met in college in Beijing, and went to Yale for graduate school. Zhang and Yong shared a common love for the food they grew up with and missed eating authentic and healthy Northern Chinese food every day. They loved the diverse flavors of their home so much that they opened the first Junzi Kitchen in New Haven in 2015 to share their favorite dishes with their classmates and community. Since then Junzi Kitchen has been an institution beloved by Chinese and non-Chinese diners alike, eventually opening in New York City as one of the highest reviewed Chinese restaurants. Through CookUnity, they're excited to share those healthy and delicious traditional recipes with you.
