Who doesn't love traditional Chinese-style boiled dumplings, especially when they're packed full of tender pork and chives, then wrapped in chewy, thin dough? Chef Wanting & Yong serve their dumplings with Junzi Kitchen's homemade dumpling sauce for dipping and scallions for garnish, plus a side of yu choy to round out the meal. These juicy dumplings will have you ditching takeout for good.

Chefs Wanting Zhang and Yong Zhao grew up in Northern China, met in college in Beijing, and went to Yale for graduate school. Zhang and Yong shared a common love for the food they grew up with and missed eating authentic and healthy Northern Chinese food every day. They loved the diverse flavors of their home so much that they opened the first Junzi Kitchen in New Haven in 2015 to share their favorite dishes with their classmates and community. Since then Junzi Kitchen has been an institution beloved by Chinese and non-Chinese diners alike, eventually opening in New York City as one of the highest reviewed Chinese restaurants. Through CookUnity, they're excited to share those healthy and delicious traditional recipes with you.
