Big chunks of beef get the slow-braise treatment until they're fall-apart tender, then tucked into a rich beef gravy thickened with a buttery roux. Underneath? Rustic smashed red potatoes. It's cozy, hearty, and unapologetically classic.

I have ordered this meal several times and it never disappoints me. The portion is just right, it makes me feel satisfied. The only negative report is that several peas were not cooked completely.

Wonderful flavor. The beef was very tender, and the chunks are a perfect bite size. A very well-balanced dish.
