Fluffy steamed buns come alongside a savory mix of shrimp, crimini mushrooms, apple, and onion—sautéed with sesame oil and soy for a deep umami base. Build each bite just the way you like it and tie everything together with a drizzle of sweet eel sauce.
I love Bao of all types, but this was weird. And, there was no way to reheat the buns properly. They were rock hard. After 1 bite, we had to throw this away. Would love a more authentic Bao bun.

Great flavor and textures. Could use a third bun to use up the shrimp veggie mix.

This surprised me. The overall effect is that of eating shrimp dumplings. Appreciated all of the onion in this dish.

So very delicious - wonderfully creative combination of ingredients. Great to have this kind of variety. I wonder if there is a deconstructed version to consider, since it was a little tricky to eat?

I really liked this dish. Needed one more bao, but I subbed in a lettuce leaf as a wrapper. Nice combination of ingredients.

Need more bao buns. Not enough for the amount of the remainder of the ingredients and the remainder doesn’t taste good enough to reorder without the buns.

Tastes very good. However , need more shrimp and a third bun. Also, need to find a better way to package the buns.
