Fluffy steamed buns come alongside a savory mix of shrimp, crimini mushrooms, apple, and onion—sautéed with sesame oil and soy for a deep umami base. Build each bite just the way you like it and tie everything together with a drizzle of sweet eel sauce.
Great meal. Wonderful taste and texture. Need a third Bao bun!!

Taste of filling was great. Ideally, would like more protein and less but otherwise loved it.

I expected happy flavors….Did not taste good.

I don't prefer mushrooms.

Would love an additional bao bun or two. Very tasty otherwise.

Love the many bold flavors in this dish! But, boy is it messy!!

there was some interaction with a fennel like flavor and sugar and it was a bad mix

This was absolutely delicious but I think another boa bun would work with the amount of filling provided.

The moisture soaked into the plastic wrapping around the bao buns. The filling needed more seasoning.

I love Bao of all types, but this was weird. And, there was no way to reheat the buns properly. They were rock hard. After 1 bite, we had to throw this away. Would love a more authentic Bao bun.

Great flavor and textures. Could use a third bun to use up the shrimp veggie mix.
As some say, cooking is loving, which is definitely true for Chef Pimnapat Chancharoen. She was born in Thailand, a paradise for food lovers, and went to school for mechanical engineering. She had dreams of becoming a pilot, but ended up becoming a chef because her cooking made so many people happy. Chancharoen is inspired by Korean, Japanese, Cuban and Taiwanese cuisines, and her unique style reflects this vibrant mix of flavors. She started her own food truck in 2018 and opened a ghost kitchen for takeout and delivery in 2021.
