Meet Chef Andres' Tacos Checa: where Mexican and Japanese cuisines meet in a culinary mash-up that will leave you craving more. These tacos features Japanese-style rib-eye steak, thinly sliced and nestled in soft flour tortillas then generously drizzled with a special Mexican-style chile-infused ponzu sauce. A side of sushi rice completes the fusion dish.

It was underwhelming. The ribeye was like leather. I tossed it.

the rice could be improved or extra sauce for rice or a little butter. cooks a little crunchy or can't explain

The taste is on but it just lacks a lot of flavor and creativity. It just seemed like a big wad of meat. There’s also never enough tortillas to fit the meat.

We would love to see an addition of a sauce. The little sauce was not enough to cover the meat or give a boost in taste

I wouldn’t call these “tacos”, they’re just beef and rice in a flour shell. Very little flavor on the beef. I will not be ordering them again.
