Who doesn't love traditional Chinese-style boiled dumplings, especially when they're packed full of tender pork and chives, then wrapped in chewy, thin dough? Chef Wanting & Yong serve their dumplings with Junzi Kitchen's homemade dumpling sauce for dipping and scallions for garnish. Enjoy this classic Chinese appetizer made with traditional ingredients as a satisfying snack or light meal, especially when paired with your favorite veggies.

Delicious meal. More than I could eat. Next time I will only cook up half and save the other half for lunch.

Very large portion. After I boiled 1/2 of them I poured out the water and added some seseme oil and olive oil and I stir fried them. Delicious!!! Now I also have a luncheon portion for another day.
Chefs Wanting Zhang and Yong Zhao grew up in Northern China, met in college in Beijing, and went to Yale for graduate school. Zhang and Yong shared a common love for the food they grew up with and missed eating authentic and healthy Northern Chinese food every day. They loved the diverse flavors of their home so much that they opened the first Junzi Kitchen in New Haven in 2015 to share their favorite dishes with their classmates and community. Since then Junzi Kitchen has been an institution beloved by Chinese and non-Chinese diners alike, eventually opening in New York City as one of the highest reviewed Chinese restaurants. Through CookUnity, they're excited to share those healthy and delicious traditional recipes with you.
