Japanese eggplant is gently simmered in a sweet-savory kabayaki glaze until tender and glossy, then laid over steamed short-grain rice. A sprinkle of sesame and green onion finishes the simple, satisfying, and fully plant-based bowl.

Would recommend adding a sauce.

Eggplant was undercooked, and flavour was bland (needed sauce added).

Didn't taste fresh despite eating it soon after delivery. Needed something crunchy to break up the soft textures.

The eggplant kabayaki was disgusting—mushy, slimy, and cloyingly sweet. It was borderline inedible, completely lacking substance, and felt like a careless dish that was a total waste of my money.

Gross texture and flavour. Do not recommend, the meal did not have much substance as it's just rice and soggy eggplant. Oyster mushrooms would've been a better and more flavourful alternative.

This was absolutely disappointing. Soggy, flavourless, no variation in texture. Did not even bother finishing the meal. Would not recommend!!
