Dan Dan Noodles (Noodles with Spicy Meat Sauce)

A staple of Szechuan cuisine, this dish is sweet, spicy, and super savory. Ground beef is sautéed until caramelized and incorporated into a spicy and tangy sauce deeply flavored with Szechuan peppercorns, chili paste, soy, and sesame paste. The sauce is mixed into fresh noodles and topped with tender bok choy and pine nuts for an extra hit of nuttiness and texture.

Delicious! However, the bok choy was not cooked properly, so the pieces I received were inedible in terms of chew ability. The meat sauce, the spicy sauce on top, and the noodles were all amazing, though. Wish there was a tad more noodles or something besides them and a couple bok choy (cooked properly or not) to balance out the sheer amount of meat sauce I ended up left over with. Will order again, though!!!
